Have I ever told you about my love for Moab, Utah? Well in case you don't know. I just LOVE that place.
I have never seen so many beautiful rocks! I have never hiked anywhere else where the prize at the end of the hike is as spectacular as it is in Moab. In addition to the wonderful rocks - there is a pretty famous River, The Colorado. If you have never been White Water Rafting on the Colorado - Add it to your Bucket List, it is a must do!10 Years ago I had the opportunity to live in Moab. I enjoyed living there and I look back fondly at the many wonderful memories. So whenever I get the chance to head back there - I jump on it!
I am so fortunate to work at an amazing place that believes like I do - Children Need Sunshine and Outdoors. Last year work started an annual trip to Moab and I have been able to attend each year. Every trip brings something different, some new exciting adventure, and this year it was a micro burst flash flood while we were in Arches National Park.It had been a long time (Years) since I was able to hike the Firery Furnace and this year we were able to. It's beauty is breath taking - no wonder it is Matt's favorite place to visit while in Moab.
I really am looking forward to going again next year. And hopefully, we'll be able to go as a family before then.
