Cheer Camp 2010

Alora participated in a very fun opportunity this January. Granger High School Mini Cheer Camp. Alora really enjoyed this activity because this is more like the kind of cheer that she loves. While she had fun cheering with a dance company in the past she wasn't loving it because it lacked the . . . Sport Cheer! Ya know what I mean! Rallying the Crowd, Go Team, Go Team, Go, Fight, Win!
Aunt Kodi, Aunt Jenny, and Anthony also attended to support her. It was so much fun and I was so proud. So was her Dad, after her routine Matt leaned over to me and said "That brought a tear to my eye". I too had tears of happy! Way to Go, B we love you so much. And we are so happy that you had so much fun. Keep doing what you love and we'll be the wind on your back. P.S. So Far We Like Anthony :)
P.P.S. I wanted to add the video but B reminded me that I am really bad at recording :)

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas

Matt and I hosted the family Christmas again this year. Can I just say - I love hosting this Christmas party at our house. I really enjoy having all of the families over enjoying the spirit of the season together. We had a special visit from Santa's helper since the offical Santa couldn't be here, as you know Santa is super busy preparing for the big night. Santa's helper was fantastic he brought fun gifts for the kids and of course a gift for each of the Grandma's too. He even stayed for a bite and a drink.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious pot luck dinner and the kids all had so much fun playing together (18 kids total). Grandma Cathy did her annual pajama gift for each child and we played a fun game for the family gift exchange. Matt won 2 very large bags of Hershey Miniatures which Shayla wanted very badly and so she and the kids chased and attacked Matt with hopes of getting the candy. Matt held tight and was able to keep the goodies and our family enjoyed them over the following week.
I'm excited to host this party again next year and for it to become an annual tradition. Merry Christmas Family - We love you!
