Meghan's 7th Birthday

Miss Meghan turned 7 this August 1st. I can't believe it, I totally thought that she was turning 8. Meghan's party was a blast! She had up the inflatable water slide and all the kids got wet. After she opened her gifts we ate yummy home made cake with some ice cream. Followed by some serious Dodge Ball, check out the pictures below. Happy Birthday Sweet Megs, we love you.

Family Vacation 2009 - Pickleville Playhouse

If ever you shall find yourself in Garden City, Utah - you Must visit The Pickleville Playhouse. The Pickleville Playhouse is just fun. The Playhouse offers not only a variety of live theatre but also a chuck wagon style barbecue dinner. While it's your choice you can do either or, and even both if you so choose. We did both. The evening started out with great food, some fun laughs and a couple of spills. Then after dinner it was SHOWTIME. The play we saw was Annie Get Your Gun. I was the only one in the family who had known the story prior to attending but everyone laughed and loved it. Here is a link to The Pickleville Playhouse. Undeniably Unforgettable. http://www.picklevilleplayhouse.com/bearlake.html

Family Vacation 2009 - Minnetonka Cave

During our family vacation this summer we were able to visit the Minnetonka Cave in St. Charles, Idaho. It was the first time in a cave for Shayla and the kids. Everyone enjoyed, especially me, I love ROCKS! And we even got to touch a Stalagmite!

Family Vacation 2009 Part 3

The Lake - the lake is fantastic!!!! The temperature is NOT freezing and the water WAS warm! In addition to the great temperature the lake offered very shallow coast lines, Matt and I were able to walk out about (not joking) 200-250 yards with the water just reaching our necks! The sandy, shell filled beaches are deceptive, it's almost like visiting an inland Caribbean Sea.

ATV/Motorcycle Riding - Another very cool thing about our vacation was that there is riding trials directly from our Kamp Ground. Matt got to ride at least 5 out of 7 days and we all rode at least once. Here are some fun views from the trails as well as some fun riding pix of us.

Family Vacation 2009 Part 2

This year was extra special because Grandma Kathy, Aunt Shayla and Baby Ava were able to go with us. It'd been a while since we have all been able to vacation together, matter of fact it was 2006 when we all went to Las Vegas, NV and Anaheim, CA.

Family Vacation 2009 Part 1

Bear Lake, Utah & Bear Lake, Idaho August 24, 09 - August 31, 2009. Our family vacation this year was Super Awesome! We stayed at the KOA in Garden City, Utah which is a most adorable small country town on the lake. Our campground was amazing, it is truly perfect for anyone. Check out their website. http://www.bearlakecampgrounds.com/ or http://koa.com/where/ut/44101/

Here we are at the Kamping Kitchen, which is a large pavilion with stove tops, grills, and sinks. It also has picnic tables and electricity it is for all KOA Kampers to use as first come first serve. I fell in love with the Kamping Kitchen, it meant less of our propane or wood used along with more space for cooking and what an easy clean up it provided. Behind us to the right (our right) is our Kamp Site, and behind us to the left (our left) is Grandma Kathy's and Aunt Shayla's Kamp site. Talk about being convenient to the Kamping Kitchen.
Here are some fun pictures from our Kamp ground.

4th Of July

This 4th of July was super eventful. We started the day by heading up to Morgan, Utah so we could go tubing on the Weber River. OMG - what a time we had! I feel that I can not accurately type a description of what happened, so I'll leave it with -" If Life is an Adventure", then we are surely Living!
