February, 28, 09 - Our little niece Ava Rae turned 1 year old today. What a big girl - so fast she's grown. It seems like just a month or two ago that she hatched but one year ago -WOW, but time does fly and baby's do get big!! Her party was small and sweet just like her. We had the party at our house because it's bigger than hers and we can fit more people here.
Mommy, Shayla seemed to be beaming with pride as her little princess celebrated her first birthday, I couldn't help but reminisce about my own babies. I must say that I am so proud of Shayla, she is such a good Momma to Little Baby A. Ava's cake was chocolate which is extra yummy for her tummy but really messy on all the rest :) Big Cousin Bradford helped her to clean up in the bath after. 
Ava got some really cute spring clothes, books and toys too (including her first baby dolly). We are really enjoying having Ava around, she is such a joy.

It was a super Birthday for little Ava... she was so much fun.. and still likes cake too

Ava is such a little character.. I think we will keep her around for a while she just makes us all smile and laugh.
